Vivienne Westwood Memorial

Our task was to engineer a practical lighting solution for all Vivienne Westwood stores worldwide, each dedicated to displaying a photograph of the renowned designer and activist. The primary challenge was to design fixtures capable of securely housing and illuminating the photograph during the temporary closures of these stores, which closed following Vivienne Westwood's passing. We were ask for patinated steel as the primary material for its durability and aesthetic. Moveable joints articulate these lighting fixtures, ensuring adaptability to the various window configurations present across the global network of Vivienne Westwood stores. These installations serve as a poignant tribute from the company to its visionary founder, underscoring her lasting influence on the fashion world.
